FAQ
Do visitors need an app?
No. The whole flow runs in the mobile browser. No app store, no download, no push notifications — the QR code opens a web URL directly.
Can I publish QR codes without a quiz?
Yes. Every QR code can reveal directly, on a schedule, or quiz-gated — even mixed within one flow.
What happens with wrong answers?
Failed attempts are counted on the server and can be rate-limited, put on cooldown, or fully blocked after N attempts.
Can I use my own domain and slugs?
Custom slugs (quizqr.com/your-flow) are included in every plan. Custom subdomains (scan.your-brand.com) start at the Pro tier.
Where is my data stored — and is it shared or sold?
Exclusively in the EU: primary region Frankfurt, encrypted backups in Dublin. No data flows to the US or third countries. We don't sell, rent, or share data with ad networks or data brokers — our business model is subscriptions, not data trading. All sub-processors are EU-based and bound under Art. 28 GDPR. We use no advertising cookies, no Google Analytics, and no Facebook Pixels — only anonymous, data-minimal aggregates for internal reach measurement.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can delete your account yourself at any time. We provide a full data export as JSON (profile, QR codes, quizzes, configurations, stats) on request — just reach out and we'll enable the export for your account. Requests under GDPR Art. 17 (deletion) and Art. 20 (portability) are processed within the legal one-month window.
